How to maintain the water tank of high temperature loader in summer

Summer is the peak period of loader use, and it is also a period of high incidence of water tank failures. The water tank is an important part of the cooling system of the loader. Its function is to dissipate the heat generated by the engine through circulating water and maintain the normal operating temperature of the engine. If there is a problem with the water tank, it will cause the engine to overheat and even be damaged. Therefore, it is very necessary to maintain the water tank of the loader in summer. The following are some common maintenance methods
1. Check the inside and outside of the water tank for dirt, rust or blockage. If there is, it should be cleaned or replaced in time. When cleaning, you can use a soft brush or compressed air to blow off the dust on the surface, and then rinse with water. If there is rust or blockage, it can be soaked with a special cleaning agent or acid solution, and then rinsed with clean water.
2. Check whether the coolant in the water tank is sufficient, clean and qualified. If it is insufficient, it should be replenished in time. If it is not clean or unqualified, it should be replaced in time. When replacing, drain the old coolant first, then rinse the inside of the water tank with clean water, and then add new coolant. The type and proportion of coolant should be selected according to the loader’s instruction manual or the manufacturer’s requirements.
3. Check whether the water tank cover is well sealed and whether there is any crack or deformation. If there is, it should be replaced in time. The water tank cover is an important part to maintain the pressure in the water tank. If it is not sealed well, it will cause the coolant to evaporate too fast and reduce the cooling effect.
4. Check whether there is any leakage or looseness in the connection parts between the water tank and the engine and radiator. If so, fasten or replace gaskets, hoses and other parts in time. Leakage or looseness will cause coolant loss and affect the normal operation of the cooling system.
5. Regularly check, clean and replace the coolant for the water tank. Generally, it is recommended once a year or once every 10,000 kilometers. This can prolong the service life of the water tank and improve the working efficiency and safety of the loader.
